Changes may become noticeable when a kitten is approximately six to eight weeks old, but the final color and intensity can continue developing for several months.
Does Black Fur Cause Green Eyes?
Black fur does not automatically produce green eyes. Coat color and eye color are controlled by different genetic factors, which is why two black cats can have completely different eye colors.
The dark fur does, however, create a beautiful contrast that can make green eyes appear especially bright and dramatic.
