Adoption Fee & Matching Policy: The applicant agrees to provide an adoption donation to support Legendary Acres Animal Rescue.
Kittens: Fees range from $125 to $225 per kitten, depending on spay/neuter status and individual care requirements. *Ask if we have any sponsorships available (from time to time we have donors sponsor all or part of a kitten adoption fee!)
Farm Animals: Fees depend on species and individual care requirements, and will be discussed prior to your on-site visit.
Our primary goal is to ensure a happy, lasting match for both the pet and your home. Legendary Acres Animal Rescue reserves the right to evaluate applications and approve or deny any adoption request to ensure the best fit for the animal’s needs.
Refund Policy: Adoption donations are non-refundable. All funds directly support the ongoing care and rescue of animals in our care.
Hold Harmless & Release of Liability: The adopter agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Legendary Acres Animal Rescue, its founders, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, or legal fees arising out of or related to the animal’s health, behavior, or presence in the home.
Health & Temperament Disclaimer: Legendary Acres Animal Rescue makes no guarantees regarding the health, age, breed, or future behavior/temperament of the adopted animal. All known medical and behavioral details are disclosed in good faith, but the applicant acknowledges animals may have undetected health or behavioral conditions. Kitten Spays and Neuters have been performed where applicable by our favorite kitten vet Dr. Melissa Holahan of Caprine & Ewe Veterinary Consultants. As of 08.24.2026 – spayed/neutered kittens also tested negative for FELV/FIV, and other than a bit of sneezing for some, a clean bill of health!
Post-Adoption Care & Financial Responsibility: The adopter assumes full responsibility for all future food, shelter, and medical/veterinary expenses following adoption.
