Big Bird was an odd clucker in the pen when we picked the chicks up. She had a downy orange/rust colored top (crown) and was in with the “chipmunk” looking chicks. We weren’t sure what she was, but we love the odd – unique – and special, so we were thrilled to add her to our group.
She’s been an easy one to keep tabs on since she looked so different…until this week when she developed some of the “chipmunk” coloring of the wings.
No worries though, she is super friendly, and not afraid of us at all. She’s the first to come say Hello and take on our adventures!
