We Are Now Officially a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
After a long period of building, rescuing, learning, and growing, Legendary Acres Animal Rescue has officially received 501(c)(3) status.
This designation means our organization is now formally recognized as a tax-exempt nonprofit. It strengthens our ability to serve animals in need, expand our rescue efforts, and build stronger partnerships within our community and beyond.
More importantly, it validates what we’ve always known at our core: this mission is bigger than a hobby farm—it’s a commitment to rescue, rehabilitation, education, and lifelong care for animals who need a second chance.
What This Means for Our Mission
This milestone allows us to grow in ways that directly benefit the animals in our care, including:
- Expanding rescue capacity for farm and exotic animals
- Improving long-term medical and rehabilitation support
- Increasing educational outreach and community engagement
- Building sustainable funding and donor-supported programs

Every animal that comes through our gates represents a story of care, patience, and recovery—and this new status helps us do that work more effectively and responsibly.
